PHI User Meeting - Updated Announcement

Dear valued PHI customer,
It is my great pleasure to announce our next PHI User Meeting scheduled for April 22nd - 23rd, 2010 in Ochsenfurt, Germany. To continue the long tradition of PHI User Meetings, in particular the most recent meeting held in Ismaning, Germany, in April of 2008, the meeting will provide a mix of customer contributions, news from PHI, and a forum to exchange our experiences with the instrumentation from Physical Electronics. The meeting will cover all techniques from PHI, including XPS, Auger, Quad-SIMS, and Time-of-Flight SIMS. PHI management, scientists, application engineers, and technical support personnel will be available for discussions. On April 21st, the day before the User Meeting, PHI will conduct training classes for Multipak, PHI’s data reduction software for XPS and Auger. The training will consist of two classes running simultaneously: one class for XPS users and another for Auger users. To make the training most effective, each class will be limited to 12 people. Registrations for the classes will be taken on a first come – first serve basis. Use the on-line form available at the link below to register. Currently the class for XPS users is full and is closed for new registrations. Training for the Auger users session is still available. PHI MultiPak Training Session - Updated Announcement
Dates: April 21st, 2010 and April 23rd-24th, 2010

Dear valued PHI Customer,
In conjunction with the PHI Users Meeting scheduled for April 22nd - 23rd, 2010 in Ochsenfurt, Germany, PHI will be offering one day PHI MultiPak Training classes on April 21st, 2010. The classes will be taught by PHI Scientists and will cover the features of the PHI MultiPak software for both Auger and XPS data reduction. Two classes, one for XPS and one for Auger will take place simultaneously on April 21st. PHI Scientist, John Moulder will conduct the training session for PHI MultiPak for XPS. At the same time, the Auger session will take place, taught by PHI Scientist, Dennis Paul.
New features of MultiPak, Version 9.0 will be shown and discussed at each of the training sessions. To make the training most effective, the groups will be limited to 12 registrants at each session. Registrations for the classes will be taken on a first come – first serve basis. Currently the class for XPS users is full and is closed for new registrations. Training for the Auger users session is still available. You can register on-line for the Auger session at the link below.
Please note that all participants are required to bring their own laptop computers to the class. The fee for either training session will be 265€ per person. Registrants will be invoiced approximately 4 weeks prior to training.
