PHI European User Meeting - Event Details

The aim of this biennial User Meeting is to bring together users of PHI equipment, with the staff of Physical Electronics.  There is a long history with this meeting, dating back to the early 1980s, when the first User Meeting was established.  In this tradition, we are happy to setup again this platform for the exchange of information on PHI equipment, scientific topics, and your own experiences with other users of PHI equipment.  The meeting will be a mix of presentations by the users and PHI staff.  We invite all users to propose to us any topic they would like to present at the meeting, and inform us ahead of time regarding any topics they would like to see covered in the meeting.  Please use the online registration for this.

User Meeting Program

Each user is invited to contribute with a short 10-15 minute presentation. The presentations should focus around features or functionalities of the PHI systems, which might be relevant to other users as well.  In addition, we will try to have specific talks on subjects of general interest.  PHI will also use the opportunity to inform you about news from PHI, upgrades, software, and functionality.

The User Meeting will take place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010 (including coffee and lunch breaks).  PHI will host a User Meeting Dinner on the evening of June 22nd for all registered attendees.  The dinner will take place at the Weingut Meinzinger in Frickenhausen, which is a charming old wine village just opposite on the other side of the Main Valley.  The meeting will then resume on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010, and run from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM to include lunch.
