This topical conference provides an informal forum similar to a Gordon Conference for extended discussion on the quantitative aspects of surface analysis and on surface, interface and thin-film characterization, including high spatial resolution measurements. The program will consist of invited presentations followed by extended discussion periods, and a poster session of contributed papers. It will be begin on Friday morning and conclude on Saturday afternoon preceding the 2008 AVS International Symposium in Boston.
