The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Vacuum Society (AVS) is holding its annual symposium and equipment exhibit September 16, 2010 in Westminster (Denver), Colorado. The Rocky Mountain Chapter is the local AVS chapter for the States that encompass the Rocky Mountain Region. The Rocky Mountain AVS is a non-profit organization designed to promote science and vacuum-related science education. Members of the AVS Rocky Mountain Chapter are from academic, government, and commercial institutions and are engaged in research, applied vacuum technology, and vacuum equipment sales.
