2016 PHI European User Meeting & Software Training

Physical Electronics is pleased to announce its upcoming software training classes: MultiPak for XPS data reduction, MultiPak for Auger data reduction and TOF-DR for TOF-SIMS data reduction. All classes will offer hands-on training and will cover basic functions as well as advanced features of the specific software. To make the training most effective, the group will be limited to 15 people for the MultiPak XPS training and 8 people for the MultiPak AES and TOF-DR training (a minimum of 6 registrations is needed or the class may be cancelled). Registration for the sessions will be taken on a first come – first serve basis. Classes will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located in Maastricht, the Netherlands on Tuesday, April 26 and Wednesday, April 27, 2016. (The classes will be held at the same time - participants may only attend one session).

On Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29, PHI will host its 2016 European User Meeting. As in previous meetings, we will provide a platform for the exchange of information and ideas. We will present the latest news about our products along with recent applications and upgrades for your existing systems. Attendees are encouraged to contribute to the meeting by way of a short presentation, telling of your experiences using PHI equipment. Topics could be application oriented or about features you might have developed for your system that would be of general interest to other customers. The meeting will cover all techniques supported by PHI including XPS, Auger, and Time-of-Flight SIMS. The User Meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Maastricht.

You may be wondering why the User Meeting has moved from Germany, where it is typically held, to Maastricht?  We’ve decided to move the location for this meeting as we’d like you to share in our excitement of the new nanoTOF MS/MS instrument that was recently installed at Maastricht University (M4I). It’s the first location in the world to have this breakthrough technology, and we’d like you to be able to see it firsthand! If you want to learn more about the new parallel imaging MS/MS nanoTOF , please read the article under "News".
