2013 PHI MultiPak & WinCadence Training / North American User Meeting

PHI is pleased to offer training sessions for MultiPak and WinCadence data reduction software, in conjunction with its upcoming User Meeting. Mark your calendar for April 22 - 25, 2013. We hope to see you in Minneapolis!

MultiPak Training for XPS Data Reduction
Here's your chance to get hands-on training using PHI MultiPak for XPS data reduction. Day 1 of this training session will cover the basic functions of MultiPak, with Day 2 focusing on more advanced features. Class size is limited to 20 participants.

The cost for the training session is $250. Attendees are responsible for all transportation and lodging costs. Each student must bring their own laptop for use in the class, and should have MultiPak 9.3 installed (instructors will be using version 9.3 or the latest version).

WinCadence Training for TOF-SIMS Data Reduction
Analysts will receive hands-on training using WinCadenceN software for TOF-SIMS data reduction. Day 1 of this course will cover the basic functions of the WinCadenceN software including peak identification and chemical imaging. Day 2 will cover advanced functions of the software including structural characterization, depth profiling and 3D imaging. The instructors of this course are Dr. Gregory L. Fisher and Dr. Scott R. Bryan of Physical Electronics. Class size is limited to 12 participants.

Each student must bring their own laptop for use in the class (a two-button wheel mouse is also recommended), and should have WinCadenceN installed. Instructors will be using version 1.16, which will be provided for each attendee as a 30-day trial version.

Physical Electronics User Meeting
The meeting format will include a mix of customer contributions, news from PHI and a forum for customer exchange and discussion. All techniques (XPS, Auger and TOF-SIMS) will be covered. PHI management, scientists, application engineers and technical support personnel will be available for discussion. Users are invited to contribute a short 10-15 minute presentation focusing on features or functionalities of the PHI systems, which might be relevant to other users as well. There is NO COST to attend the User Meeting, however, attendees are responsible for all transportation and lodging costs. Lunches will be provided both days, as well as dinner on Wednesday evening.
