The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, the accounting of PHI benefits plans, to be an event coordinator for company events and to provide administrative support to the Executive Staff. 

  1. Analyze, prepare and input payroll data for bi-weekly payroll and non-routine runs for bonuses, wellness pay-outs, etc.                                                                                                                     
  2. Process complex and multi-step transfer of payroll data to ADP
  3. Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401(k) deductions.
  4. Manage third party relationships with payroll vendor (ADP).
  5. Prepare internal reports from payroll software.
  6. Ensure accurate and timely payment to benefit providers.
  7. Assist the HR Manager by acting as a liaison with benefit providers, fielding questions from employees on benefits issues and assisting with new employee on-boarding and orientation.
  8. Event planning and coordination of company functions such as Quarterly meetings, cook-outs, Sneaker days, annual party, BBQs, etc.
  9. Provide administrative support to the Executive Staff as assigned.


Experience - a minimum of three years of direct payroll experience

Education - Associate degree or five years of experience in lieu of education above

Knowledge and Skills:          

  • Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with social media (LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Should enjoy frequent interaction with employees
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently
