2011 FLAVS/ FSM Annual Joint Symposium & Exhibition

Florida Chapter of the AVS Science and Technology Society (FLAVS) Florida Society for Microscopy (FSM)

PHI is again proud to be a sponsor of the 2011 FLAVS/FSM Joint Symposium which will be held March 7-8, 2011 at the Student Union Building of the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

The Symposium will consist of a plenary lecture, technical sessions with invited and contributed presentations, a poster session including a student poster competition, a science teachers' workshop and an equipment exhibit for vendors to display surface analytical, vacuum, microscopy, thin film and microelectronic equipment. This symposium is sponsored by the AVS Florida Chapter (FLAVS) and the Florida Society for Microscopy (FSM).

One of the invited speakers on the program is PHI Scientist, Dr. John Hammond. He will give a presentation on Quantitative Auger Analysis for Nanotechnology on Monday. March 7 at 9:50 AM. PHI will also have a booth at the exhibition. Stop by to hear the latest on new developments at PHI.
